Gen Con 2020

This private page is for planning a private trip to Gen Con in 2020.

People

I have no idea who's going. It's nice to have mutliples of 4 so that we can fit 4 to a room. We can have a room of 3, but that's a little more expensive. The #1 important thing is to have our group together by the hotel lottery in late January so that we have a better chance to get a good hotel.

Cost Estimates

(Assuming 4 per room and we all drive together.)

• 4-Day Badge: $110
• Hotel (total for 4 nights): $230
• Gas: $40
• Food: $200
• Total: $580

Travel (Up for debate)

(I use Kert's house as a start/endpoint only because I know the timing.)

• Wed, July 29 - 6AM: Leave Mebane/Burlington in Kert's van.
• Wed, July 29 - 6PM: Arrive at the hotel in Indianapolis.
• Sun, August 2 - 12PM: Depart the hotel.
• Mon, August 3 - 12AM: Arrive home (or at least Kert's house).
